Position Summary
The Engagement Manager ensures that GigaOm is effective in communicating with our customers during and after the sales process. They coordinate scoping for new work and coordinate delivery of finished deals to ensure that we meet or exceed expectations. They are also the primary facilitator for our more interactive deliverables, turning presentations and hand-offs into impactful events. They work cross-functionally to reinforce a high standard of polish and effectiveness, driving repeat business and strengthening partnerships.
General Responsibilities
- Work with customers to understand their needs, align problems to GigaOm solutions, and actively manage expectations around outcome and delivery
- Facilitate live and interactive sessions as a coordinator to create a memorable, professional experience
- Coordinate with other departments as needed to ensure readiness on the client’s part and efficacy on GigaOm’s part
- Provide the voice of our clients and partners to Client Success and Product teams to help refine our offerings to better meet customer expectations
- Own the SOW and Proposal process internally to make sure client desires and needs are represented in the proposals, and that internal resources are aware, and contributing where needed
Success Factors
- Competently manages the execution of custom asset production and delivery, and associated live events and enablement sessions
- Regularly provides insights into the dispositions of attendees and the buyer after delivery
- Deftly navigates our product and service catalog to match what we do well to what the customer needs
Experience Preferences
- 10 years in product and service delivery (sales, facilitation, fulfillment or account management)
Education Preferences
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Work Location: Remote. The majority of GigaOm works on a US timezone, some flexible scheduling to accommodate team collaboration is required.
